I played for the County of Kent as a Junior and at 18 years of age, I became an ABTO (Association of British Tennis Officials) accredited Line Umpire. At the 2003 Wimbledon Championships, I got the chance to officiate some of the world’s top players.

I achieved my highest singles ranking of 88 in the Country & travelled to events in the Middle East. Worked at David Lloyd in Raynes Park, London for 5 years. This job gave me the opportunity to pursue my coaching career and become a CCA qualified coach.

Currently I work at Ramsbury, Marlborough and Aldbourne Tennis Clubs. Here, my coaching is varied from junior groups, individual private lessons and adult group sessions.

Steven Lloyd PTR, Level 2

I completed my Tennis Leaders Course at 14 years of age and Tennis Assistants Course at 15 years.  At the age of 16 I did my Level 1 and PTR then progressed to doing my Level 2.

My future ambition is to climb up the Coaching Ladder and undertake my Level 3.

I currently work mainly with development players at Ramsbury Tennis Club, taking group sessions, delivering hitting sessions as well as assisting with various groups; from Mini Red Groups to Performance Groups. 

I also work at Marlborough Tennis Club and assist with their Junior Programme on Saturdays.

Level 3 Tennis Coach
Coached for over 12 years specialising in the development of beginners/intermediate levels focusing on juniors.

Currently I am the Junior Tennis Competitions Co-ordinator for Ramsbury Tennis Club.
