OPENING OF EPWORTH TENNIS CLUB - 13th APRIL 2012... ...
We were invited along to the opening of Epworth Tennis Club's newly renovated facilities. This was up in Lincolnshire where Catherine is originally from and where she played in her earlier junior years.
The opening which took place on the first club night of the season, was the result of a considerable amount of work by club members in order to upgrade the club's image.
We both played some doubles with the members, then Catherine did a speech for the members and opened the new facilities followed by a bite and a drink - the club kindly presented Catherine with a bouquet of flowers plus a birthday cake!!
